Our doors are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and weekends from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

No two days at The Barn are exactly the same. You might jump into a fast-paced 3v3 game, work with a coach on strategy in Barn IQ, sharpen your skills in the Training Lab, or simply relax in the lounge. Whether you’re looking to train, compete, or just be around the game, The Barn adapts to how you want to spend your day.

After years of research and testing, we selected a premium synthetic ice that offers the ideal balance of grip and glide. Simply use your regular ice skates, no special equipment required. After a brief warmup, the surface glides naturally, allowing you to skate with the same mechanics as real ice.

Traditional rinks provide ice time. The Hockey Barn provides a complete hockey experience. Aside from our rink, we have a Training Lab to hone in on specific skills, Barn IQ, where we help develop the mental side of the game, and a community of hockey lovers to enjoy the game with. Every aspect of the Barn is designed to give you more touches to accelerate development and have more fun.

Both the Barnyard and the Training Lab are skating areas, but they’re designed for different purposes. The Training Lab focuses on high-repetition skill development, allowing you to isolate and refine specific parts of your game. The Barnyard is where you put those skills into motion through skating, fast-paced competition, and game-like situations. Together, they create a complete environment for player development.

FreePlay gives members the freedom to experience hockey on their own terms. We believe the best players aren’t just coached, they’re given the freedom to experiment, create, and learn through play. By removing the fear of failure, FreePlay helps players build confidence, develop new skills, and grow their love for the game.

Guided Play blends structured coaching with the freedom and creativity that make hockey fun. Using our player development curriculum, coaches create engaging sessions that teach new skills while encouraging players to experiment, make decisions, and apply what they’ve learned through play.

Barn IQ develops the mental side of the game through video breakdowns, classroom sessions, hockey discussions, and coaching. Players learn to better understand positioning, decision-making, and game concepts so they can play with greater confidence and hockey IQ on the ice.

Barn Access memberships include FreePlay, Guided Play, Barn IQ programming, and the community aspects of The Barn. Barnside memberships are designed for members who want to enjoy the community side of The Hockey Barn and do not include on-floor programming. Specialty clinics, Barn Institute camps, and other advanced development opportunities may require a separate registration fee and may also be open to non-members. These events are typically scheduled outside regular operating hours to minimize any impact on member programming and access.

Yes. Members use The Hockey Barn app to view the daily schedule, reserve programming, and plan their visits. Reserving your spot helps us provide the best possible experience while making it easy for you to see what’s happening before you arrive.

That depends on your membership. We offer a variety of membership options designed around how often you’d like to use The Barn, from occasional visits to unlimited access.

Yes. The Hockey Barn offers dedicated goalie development through position-specific coaching, specialized programming, and high-repetition training. Goalies also benefit from developing alongside skaters in game-like situations, creating a complete environment that builds both technical skills and game awareness.

Equipment requirements vary depending on the activity. Every session in The Hockey Barn app clearly identifies whether full equipment, partial equipment, or specific gear is required, so you’ll always know what to bring before you arrive.

Absolutely! One of the best parts of The Hockey Barn is that parents and children can share the experience together. As long as you both have an active membership, you can enjoy the game together whenever programming allows.

Yes. Members may purchase a daily guest pass for friends or visiting players, subject to availability and programming, making it easy to share The Hockey Barn experience with others.

Yes. Coach-led training sessions are included, and our coaches are available during free play to help you improve. Every coach has played high-level hockey and follows our player development philosophy to deliver a consistent, high-quality coaching experience.
